After being considered a commodity and being hunted as such for nearly 70 years, the Nile crocodile population began to decrease and was becoming endangered. Around 1969, the first Nile crocodile conservation efforts began, resulting in a steady increase in the population thanks to the animal being protected and crocodile farms.
Fast forward to today and the population has been stabilized, with private breeding farms capable of producing 200,000 crocodile hatchlings in a year! We have these conservation efforts to thank for the opportunity to use the impressive, unique leather today. |

Why Crocodile Leather?
- This isn't your everyday leather. It's a high-end staple of luxury goods because of its incredible durability and unique texture. When treated, it becomes a supple leather perfect for wallets, sheaths, or handbags.
- Nile crocodile leather is just as functional as it is unique. This stuff lasts. It's rugged yet refined, tough yet stylish. But the leather itself is just half of the story, the rest is in the craftsmanship. Each piece of crocodile leather comes with its own pattern of scales, so no two leather goods are exactly alike.
- Its resistance to water and abrasion makes Nile crocodile leather ideal for anyone who lives most of their life outside. It's not just for show, it's a top performer in some of the toughest conditions.
